How It’s Built (So It Actually Holds Up)
The quartz envelope is the tough part. It handles sudden temperature swings without cracking, and it lets infrared energy pass through cleanly. So the heat goes where you aim it. Inside, the halogen cycle does its job by regenerating the filament. That keeps blackening down and keeps performance consistent over the life of the lamp. And we went with the R7s double-ended connector for a practical reason: it’s a standard, secure mount that handles the wattage without needing a pile of extra hardware.
Where It Shines—And What You Need to Plan For
On the floor, this lamp shines in jobs where speed matters—PET blowing, thermoforming, curing lines. The heat is concentrated, so you can run tight process windows and get things started fast. But there’s a trade-off, and it’s honest. High power density means you need proper cooling, and the reflector has to be aligned correctly.
