Let’s talk about High-Output Halogen Infrared Lamps
If you’re running industrial ovens or curing paint on cars, you know the biggest headache is waiting for things to heat up. That’s why we built these lamps. They’re short-wave emitters, which is a fancy way of saying they don’t waste time heating up the air around them. Instead, the energy shoots straight to the surface of your product. It’s direct. It’s fast. The power side of things We’ve pushed these up to 400V and 3000W because some jobs just need raw power in a small space. Now, if you’re doing lighter work, a 450W lamp is plenty. But for the heavy-duty stuff? The 3000W version is a beast. Here is a pro tip: using 400V actually makes your life easier. It keeps the current draw lower than those 220V setups, so you can run thinner wires over longer distances without losing power. You get a really tight, intense heat concentration. Just a heads-up, though—this stuff getshot. If your oven insulation is leaking, your safety sensors are going to start screaming. Why the quartz and halogen? We house the tungsten filament in a quartz glass envelope. Inside, there’s a halogen gas cycle that basically “cleans” the filament as it works. This stops the glass from turning dark and cloudy, which means your lamps last longer and keep putting out consistent heat. And we didn’t make them a pain to install. Most of these use R7s or similar slide-in connectors. If a tube burns out, you just slide it out and pop a new one in. No need to tear apart your wiring rack or spend half your afternoon rewiring the system. Getting them into your line You’ll see these all over the place—from blowing PET bottles to drying automotive paint. Because they hit operating temperature in seconds, you can crank up the speed of your conveyor belt and actually get more done. One last thing: please double-check your controllers. Make sure they’re matched to the exact voltage of the lamp. If the voltage is off, the lamp will either be a lukewarm disappointment or it’ll pop the second you flip the switch.
