We built them specifically for those high-pressure spots like industrial ovens or curing lines where you can’t afford to wait around for things to warm up. The power side of things Here is the deal with the specs: these are 1200W at 230V. We landed on that specific wattage because it gives you a steady, reliable heat profile across the whole 700mm length. But a quick heads-up: don’t cut corners with your power supply. If your voltage is jumping all over the place, you’re going to fry the filament way sooner than you should. Keep that 230V steady, and the lamps will do their job. Why quartz and halogen? We use high-purity quartz for the tubes. Inside, there’s a halogen gas that does the heavy lifting. It stops the tungsten filament from evaporating and gunking up the glass. That’s a big deal. It means the glass stays crystal clear, and the heat keeps hitting your target just as hard on day 100 as it did on day one. Plus, we used standard end-caps. You just pop them into your existing sockets and you’re good to go. No need to go hacking away at your machine frame. Putting them to work You’ll mostly see these in PET blowing, plastic welding, or drying paint. The best part? The ramp-up is almost instant. You hit your target temperature in seconds. It’s fast. Really fast. Just keep one thing in mind. All that power in a 700mm tube creates a ton of radiant heat. If your reflectors are dirty or pitted, you’re wasting energy and risking a meltdown in your housing. Keep those reflectors polished. And every 500 hours or so, take a peek at the contact points. If you see oxidation, clean it off so you don’t deal with any nasty arcing at the terminals.
