By mixing carbon fiber into the heating element and sealing it all in a halogen-filled quartz tube, we’ve basically rewritten the rules on how these lamps handle heat. The Power Side of Things It runs on 220V and pulls 1200W. Because it’s only 460mm long, you’re getting a huge amount of heat packed into a very small space. It’s fast. Really fast. And that means you hit your target temperatures way sooner. The best part? You can wire it straight into your standard 220V lines. No need to mess around with bulky step-up transformers. Just a heads-up: make sure your controllers can handle that first big surge of power when you flip the switch. Why Carbon Fiber and Halogen? Here is the thing about normal filaments: they evaporate. That material sticks to the quartz walls, and then—pop—it’s dead. We use a halogen cycle to push that material right back onto the filament. Then we added carbon fiber. Why? Because it’s tough. It doesn’t sag when things get scorching hot. Now, the quartz glass is great for handling thermal shock, but it has one weakness: your fingerprints.**Whatever you do, don’t touch the glass with your bare hands during install.**The oils from your skin create a hot spot, and the tube will crack. Simple as that. Putting it to Work These are great drop-in replacements if you’re running PET blowing, drying lines, or curing ovens. Because of the carbon fiber, the infrared heat is more stable and sinks deeper into your materials. But be careful. 1200W in a tube this size creates some intense, localized heat. Double-check your housing and ventilation. You don’t want your surrounding parts melting or warping just because the lamp is doing its job too well.
